EURAP European Physiologist register and accrediation

FEPS took the initiative to launch an accreditation register of physiologists in Europe, aiming to promote physiology as a high-level differentiated profession within the human health professions. Through this initiative, FEPS aims:

a) To promote a European Physiology (and Physiologist) identity, aiming to create new market opportunities where physiological expertise might be an added value;

b) To accelerate a European high-level, updated, competitive character for European Physiology and European Physiologists within the European High Education Area (EHEA)

c) To contribute to elevating European physiology professionals in a comparable (societal) attractiveness level regarding other recognized references (e.g., USA, UK)

The former FEPS Taskforce for Education is now the EURAP Committee of Experts (ComExp)  which includes

Luis Monteiro Rodrigues PRT (Director), Lazlo Csernoch HUN (Vice-Director), Guido Ferreti (Vice-Director), Fabio Benfenati (Chairman of FEPS), Jorge Oliveira (PRT) and Margarethe Geiger (AUT).

This ComExp will be responsible for the EURAP Accreditation and Register processes received from the national societies affiliated to FEPS.
