After a brief historical overview of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs), advanced fundamentals and methods of operation will follow. We will also address practical applications and future trends. On this journey we will discover how such BCI devices are enabling us to gain insights into how we humans learn, inspiring us to build improved AI algorithms, and promoting better “personal relationships” with machines.
