The SpFis International Physiology Congress

The Portuguese Society of Physiology organizes its 2nd International Physiology Meeting in Coimbra, Portugal, on 11 and 12 November 2022. An extraordinary occasion to bring together Portuguese physiologists and projects that share our common language and culture. Also an opportunity to discuss the latest methods (of teaching) and current (research) discoveries in the main fields of human biomedicine.

This 2022 meeting will take place at estesc (Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Politécnico de Coimbra) in Coimbra, a historical reference city at the Portuguese and European Academy.

The abstracts will be published in the indexed bilingual journal Biomedical Biopharmaceutical Research.

Target audience

We invite academics, researchers in areas of interest (from medicine to biochemistry and biology, to pharmacy and biomedical engineering) and professionals (physicians, health technicians from clinical areas to sports, and others) to join our congress.

Round tables are planned to promote the exchange of experiences and the sharing of knowledge. Interdisciplinary approaches are also crucial to promoting cooperation with industry and knowledge transfer.
